Morning sickness tends to extend for a longer period of time for women who are pregnant for the first time or who are experiencing a multiple birth pregnancy. For some women, the symptoms of nausea and vomiting will not subside at the end of the first trimester. Fortunately there are only a small percentage of women who will continue to suffer from morning sickness throughout their whole pregnancy.

When a woman becomes pregnant it is important that she understands how to maintain a balanced diet that will contribute to her good health as well as that of her child.
